Very good and homy hotel in the middle of the charming China Town area in Singapore. Good interiors and excellent design of lobby. Room was interesting with a small outdoor veranda and nice to stay at. Ok gyn as well. The restaurant is excellent. Very good and central location to nice and interesting neighbourhood with lots of cafees, bars and discos. Will definately come back and stay here next time I visit Singapore. the front desk took note of my preference for nespresso pods vs. 'unlisted' pods, but still the machine broke down (different one). housekeeper very helpful & when unable to fix, replaced it with a brand new nespreso pixie.

service this time (last visit was 2 years ago) seemed inconsistent, especially at the front desk - a few were of the very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful standard that i used to know. However there were many new (?) ones who either do not yet have the training, or are not suited to the front-line in hospitality. speaking to others, staffing seems to have become a real problem in the industry - the poor housekeeper was the only one working that morning, taking care of all the rooms in the entire sold-out hotel.

but overall, great location, amenities & comfort. brush up on the software & they will again have a flawless product.(G., Malaysia)
My partner and I selected this hotel because we wanted something boutique. We loved it. The room sizes are consistent with the "Singapore" standard but are designed to use the space well. We had the room with the bathtub balcony which adds a lot of space. Definitely recommend this hotel for romance. It is in a quiet area with an extremely close metro station. Also a short walk to Chinatown.(Matt N., Australia)
